Iceland Trip 2027

ICELAND TRIP: Friday 22 – Monday 25 October 2027

This trip is priced at £1520 however we have been advised by the tour company that, as flights are not released yet, this price may vary slightly – but the amount is the cost estimated by the tour company based upon the current prices.

The non-returnable deposit of £150 needs to be paid by Friday 25^th September to secure places and the accommodation. Please pay this via Arbor.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. Once the deposit is paid and numbers confirmed with the tour company you are committed to full payment for the trip in line with the payment schedule. In the event of cancellation, you become liable for cancellation charges in accordance with the tour company terms and conditions unless a full paying replacement can be found.

Please check that your child’s passport is:

· issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the ‘date of issue’)

· valid for at least 6 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)

You must check your child’s passport meets these requirements before you travel. There are some changes to European and UK border requirements that you should be aware of.

EU Entry/Exit System (EES)
Introduced on 12th October 2025 and fully implemented by April 2026, the Entry/Exit System changes how passports are processed at EU borders and includes biometric checks.

European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)
This new visa-waiver system for travellers, including UK citizens, is expected to begin in late 2026. We will update families closer to departure if this becomes applicable to our trip.

UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
Some non-British and non-Irish passport holders may need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before returning to the UK. In some cases, travellers may also need to provide evidence that they are exempt.

Please note: It is the responsibility of parents/carers of students travelling on a non-British passport to ensure that all passport, visa and entry requirements are met for travel to Iceland and for re-entry into the United Kingdom.

I will be sending out a full, detailed itinerary soon with the flight times included. The price includes a coach to and from the airport, travel, excursions, meals, accommodation, insurance and activities.
