Admissions for September 2027 into Year 7

The admissions policy for entry from 1 September 2027 to 31 August 2028 was determined by the WMAT Trustees on 2 February 2026 and can be found at the bottom of this page. Admission policies are reviewed annually.

Application window

Applications for secondary school must be made between 1 September and 31 October each year. Parents can name up to six preferred schools on the application form, and these are considered under an equal preference system in the order made on the application form.

Places available

Rodborough will offer 180 places for September 2027. Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that names the school will be allocated a place before other applicants are considered. This means the number of places available will be reduced by the number of children with an EHCP naming the school.

Offer day

If you applied on time (by 31 October), you will hear from your home local authority around 1 March with the outcome of your application.

Accepting your place

• If you are a Surrey resident, you must accept or decline your offer by 15 March. If you do not respond, the offer may be withdrawn.
• If you live in another local authority area, you may not be required to formally accept the place. Please follow the instructions given by your own authority.

Late applications

If you miss the application window (1 September to 31 October), you will need to contact your home local authority to register a late request.
