Important Notice

    OPEN EVENING Thursday 9 October
    6.00 to 8.15

We look forward to welcoming visitors to our Open Evening.

This box can be closed by clicking the x at the top right. You will then be able to view our website. Arrangements for Open Evening visitors and helpers appear below (please scroll down to read):

Visitors please use the Petworth Road entrance; students will direct you to car parking on our playground. Guided tours with senior students begin from our library.
You have three opportunities to hear Mr Smith, our Headteacher, speak; choose from 6.15, 6.45 or 8.00.

A huge number of current students have volunteered to help on the evening. Please do chat to them about their experiences of life as a Rodborough student. Departmental areas will close at 8.00 pm. Please be patient leaving the school site and allow our students to help you.

With so many visitors and friends on the school site we will do all that we can to keep the traffic disruption to a minimum. If you are able to lift share or walk then this will help considerably. Please respect our neighbours by keeping access to their properties clear at all times.
This year we will stagger the traffic caused by our student helpers leaving site (please lift share where possible):

Car park guides need to be at school by 5:30
All other helpers need to be at their department by 5:50 (please use Rake Lane entrance as our visitors will be using Petworth Road).
Parents of Years 7 & 8 are asked to collect their children from the Rake Lane entrance at 7.45 pm
Parents of Years 9, 10 & 11 are asked to collect their children from the Rake Lane entrance at 8.10 pm. Younger students who also have an older sibling helping during the evening should leave together at this later time. Members of Rodborough Jazz Band will need to be collected at 8.10 too.

Click the x (top right) to close this window and see our website.

Staff and students alike are proud of the school and our safe, friendly learning environment. Students are enthusiastic and motivated to work hard. They feel able to succeed and do their best and enjoy the wide range of opportunities the school offers. This website provides more information about Rodborough but is no substitute for a visit. Please get in touch if you would like to look round.
