Rodborough is seeking a Design and Technology/Textiles teacher who can contribute a real enthusiasm for the subject, with a desire to share that enthusiasm with pupils and staff. Within the department, imaginative and flexible approaches are developed in a structured and disciplined learning environment, to enable students to produce high quality solutions appropriate to their individual ability. The school has a large DT block offering a well-equipped DT workshop, classrooms and dedicated computer suites highlighting the impressive work our students achieve in the subject.
The successful candidate will join a small friendly DT team in January 2020 to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months. Applications are welcomed from both full time or part time applicants and the post is suitable to both experienced teachers and those new to teaching.
